Grades 1 & 2 Class Page!

We are excited about starting a new school year!  Our classroom will be a place of community, where each member of the class is valued, celebrated and honoured for the special way that God made them. We will spend time getting to know each other and learning how to treat one another with respect and kindness.  We will practise being good listeners as well as communicators as that helps a community to develop and grow together.

We also want our classroom to be a place of "wonder"--where we can observe, ask questions and study God's amazing creation.  We will begin our year with "wondering" about monarch caterpillars and butterflies.  The students will have the opportunity to observe firsthand how amazing the process of metamorphosis is, as the caterpillars create a chrysalises and then emerge days later as beautiful butterflies!
